Future centered design education.

Design is working on future challenges such as environmental sustainability, material innovation, ageing society, peace and justice, and many more. The investigation of this topic aims to picture on how the design education system is facing future challenges. According to this perspective, research and project opportunities can be used to develop design students’ skills and sensibilities to look to the future with enthusiasm and responsibility. Another aim of this topic is to understand how both academia and corporate research are facing future challenges and how interdisciplinary collaboration can take form.
